Welcome

Welcome to the Frankfort Car Club web site. Come join us every Thursday evening through the summer in downtown Frankfort. Bring your classic or antique car - or just come and look. It's a great way to spend a "family" evening.

THE PREZ SEZ - Larry Claypool
January 6, 2008

Our December get together at Mr. Benny’s was a fine affair with good food and good folks. Many thanks go to all who attended and to Bernie Warning for making the arrangements for us. We will vote on the venue for next year’s party at the January meeting. If you would like to propose any alternative ideas, please contact me before the meeting.

One note of concern occurred at the party, that being a certain Jerry Warning. Jerry felt faint at one point and then proceeded to do just that. He was up in just a minute, but spent the night and next day at the hospital for a battery of tests. Conclusion? Most likely dehydration. Our advice? Drink more, especially at parties!  Jerry was back to normal in no time and left to visit his son in Colorado 3 days later.

January marks the time of year to be entertained on speed channel watching very nice collector cars bring silly money at the big auctions in Arizona. As always, it should be interesting to see if the car hobby is still riding the high wave or will show signs of ‘correction’ as so many other markets have.

Closer to home, January also marks a new look for the FCC newsletter as Ray Garritano, assisted by wife Pam and member Ron Bernier team up to produce our monthly publication. Thanks go to Rick Wasserman, our former editor, for all our issues in 2007, and to the Warnings for the continuing donation of copying and assembly of the final product.
We are off and running into 2008 and hope to see you at the next meeting on January 9th.

Movie Nights Resume

FCC and Villa Rosa will begin our winter movie nights on January 24th at Villa Rosa restaurant in the Grainery Building. Viewing starts at 7:30 PM. No reservations, just show up! Additional dates are set for February 28tht, and March 27th.
